We do therapy differently in that we use the body as the foundation for beginning to examine thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. A key component in therapy is learning to be "with yourself." When you're running you have an opportunity to be a captive audience for yourself. Therapy can teach you how to do that while running and life in general.
